County Ventura St. Patrick’s Day Parade is brought to you by the Ventura Elks Lodge #1430. Since 1984, the parade has been a showcase of Ventura County’s finest. It features amazing costumes, dancers, horses, high school bands and more.
The parade is always held the Saturday before St. Patrick’s Day (March 17) at 10 a.m., so mark your calendar, and get ready for one of Ventura’s most endearing traditions. The Parade route is on Main Street in Downtown Ventura, starting at Lincoln Drive and continuing to Fir Street.

Shamrocks & Shenanigans!
This year’s theme, “Shamrocks & Shenanigans,” gives parade participants an invitation to embrace their inner leprechaun with whimsy and mischief in the creation of their parade entries.
Grand Marshal
Elena Brokaw,
Executive Director of the Museum of Ventura County
Elena is a perennial Ventura County civic leader who before heading up the museum worked with the city of Ventura for 13 years, including as director of Parks, Recreation and Community Partnerships. She’s led the museum since 2016. In 2019, she was named Citizen of the Year, earning the top honor bestowed by the Ventura Chamber of Commerce in its annual prestigious Poinsettia Awards.

The Parade route is on Main Street in Midtown from Lincoln Street to Fir Street (passing Cemetery Park).
Parking
There is no public parking on the parade route. Please use public parking on adjacent streets and public parking lots Downtown.
Results
The winning entries of the 2024 County Ventura St. Patrick’s Day Parade have been announced.
Judges for the parade were Blake Kreutz representing Citizens Business Bank, Rhonda Catron, Elk’s Lodge #1430; Clint Garman representing Supervisor Matt Lavere; Celina Zacarias representing California State University at Channel Islands and James Lockwood, St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee.
With 66 entries, the parade was presented by Ventura Elk’s #1430 . The 2024 parade theme was “Shamrocks & Shenanigans” in celebration of the Irish Spirit.
